A Time for Thanks...

This year for Thanksgiving we spent time with family in Union City. Shelly and Benjamin came in from Utah...luckily the kitchen was finished in time and there was a wonderful meal! Lots of baking. Little Lucy stole the show...and the hearts of everyone there. She looked so cute in her Thanksgiving outfit from her cousin Emily. We had a great time catching up and hanging out. I made some really good green bean casserole (my Thanksgiving favorite) and mom made some really good escalloped corn (Grandma Desi's Recipe) which I had never had before but was very tasty.

A couple new pictures...

I caught a smile! I wish I had a camera in my brain so I could take pictures with my eyeballs. She's such a little sweetie...even if she did pee all over the changing table today calling for an impromptu bath---which is probably a good thing because she goes to the doctor tomorrow and she didn't want to be stinky.

2 Weeks Today!

Hi! I'm two weeks old today! I had a good day...mostly eating and napping. However, I did get a bath so I don't stink so much, and I actually kind of enjoyed it.

I also snuggled with Grammy...




And then, I settle down to relax.

Favorites

A few of my favorite things about Lucy are:

1.) Her wet wavy hair---it's the sweetest.

2.) That she loves having her hair washed and brushed---I hope that translates to loving having Mommy do her hair.

3.) That she takes her little medicine without any fuss or spitting it out even though it smells (and probably tastes) like tar.
4.) That she LOVES her daddy.

Louisa "Lucy" Mae Onofrio

was born on Halloween! She was born by c-section at 1:14 pm. I will spare you the horrible, awful, terrible details. She weighed 6 lbs., 7 oz., and was 18.5 inches long. She has a ton of beautiful brown hair and she loves have it washed. She is a really calm, serene baby. She took to nursing like a pro and sleeps great. I have been enjoying every moment with her. Unfortunately our camera broke the day she was born and so I only have the pictures that other people have taken, so here are a few, enjoy!
