SIMPLE PLEASURE SATURDAY!

Simple pleasure Saturday today is devoted to SLEEP! Something I long took for granted as an early riser. I was the kind of person who felt the most productive if I were up before the sun. With a newborn who seems to think day is night and night is day I see that I was remiss in my lack of devotion for sleep. Now...I get it whenever I can...and sometimes that means not starting my day until one in the afternoon. Oh well...it's all worth it.

Wayne County Lightfest

On Saturday we went with the Vos Family to the Wayne County Lightfest. It was a drive-thru light display. It's apparently the longest drive-thru light display in Michigan, but I think that's due to the spacing between displays, not the amount of lights. It wasn't a replacement for the Lights Before Christmas but it was really fun. We had a lot of fun joking and laughing.

A month old!

Lucy is a month old (and a week, I'm a little late) and she still spends most of her time sleeping...

But also practicing her ballet...
