I made gnocchi for the first time tonight, it was pretty good. I used one of the recipes on AllRecipes, it was easy to follow. I just need to perfect making those little ridges, I wonder if there's a tool to do that for me. Oh, and those pigtails turned into paint brushes. nice.
***when Tony got home, he said it was as good as Andiamo's Gnocchi***

Wow, Anna, I'm impressed. I LOVE gnocchi but have never braved making it from scratch. You've inspired me. Its a perfect comfort food and the season for comfort food is right around the corner!
Mmm...gnocci. My first and last attempt at gnocci was an epic failure. perhaps i'll try it again - that looks so good!
Love the painting pigtails comment. Anna you may be headed for your own deli.....
Lay off my gnocchiz
Yummy. Looks delicious! I want some.
I like the gnocci I made better than the few times I have had it at a restaurant. I even bought a potatoe ricer for the next time but haven't used it yet. Tell me why does it need ridges and how did you make the ridges? I have a niece in law who is from Italy and her father is a chef and hers doesn't have ridges either.
